This quiet park takes advantage of the natural forest growing on the southwestern edge of Ota-ku near Denenchofu Station. There are about 70 species and 1,500 trees in the park including plum, cherry, camellia, sasanqua, sawtooth oak, and chinquapin.
Three hundred blooming yellow irises in May make for a particularly attractive sight. The spring-fed ponds provide a perfect habitat for ducks and there is also a water fountain set up to study the ecology of brown frogs.
